This project was a self-portrait assignment that we were given the option to do a realistic self-portrait or an object/symbol that represents us. I chose to do an object so I drew a camera because I love to take both photos and videos. I also chose it since a quote I think is very important relates to it which is, "Everyone sees life through a different lense". For this design I traced over a basic camera sketch from the "How draw a camera step by step" article from arcmel.com. For the flower field featured in the lense I used a youtube tutorial by the channel hey illust.
